Brighten your holiday season with the magical 2.5 miles of illuminated light displays of the Bull Run Festival of Lights. Because of Covid 19, the annual fair and carnival at the end of the light displays is missing.
It takes about 20 minutes to drive through — longer if it’s a busier night.
We have gotten into the habit of bringing snacks — freshly popped popcorn, hot chocolate in thermoses, fruit — for the likely wait to enter.
My favorite area was the winter wonderland, where the white LED teardrop lights are hung in the trees and it looks like it’s snowing. I loved the snowflakes falling down from the trees.
Unlike some of the other holiday lights displays, the Bull Run Festival of Lights has a well-organized, dual-lane money collection set up that moves holiday goers through the display with a minimum wait.
